Peter was so great! We can not thank him enough. My family and I broke down on the side of the 400 and had to get a hotel while our vehicle was in the shop for the night. Peter came highly recommended through the mechanics. He went out of his way to go above and beyond accommodating us under our unfortunate circumstances. He really helped us out, was friendly and easy to chat with. We can't express how greatful we were to have broken down close to what seemed to be a great community. We could walk to anything we needed, and the room was more then we could have asked for in that moment. Thank you so much! We hope to be back under better circumstances!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Located right on the lake. You have access to kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, paddle boards, a climbing thing with slide, huge trampoline and all kinds of other stuff. Staff was amazing. Good for kids too. The shorter lady that cleans the rooms was awesome. She gave us helpful suggestions to make our stay even more enjoyable than it already was. Our room was very clean and she made sure we had everything we needed. The man that works the desk was also very kind. They worked very hard the entire time we were there. They definitely helped make our stay more pleasant. We will definitely be back again and I will be telling everyone about this hidden gem.

Beautiful spot to stay in the fall for amazing fall colours. The rooms were large, clean and equipped with a full kitchen. Not the best time to travel to Port Carling as not very many businesses open, but still enjoyed the stay.

Had a great time at the Muskoka Lakes hotel over the August 16, 2024 long weekend. Corrie was very helpful and ensured check-in went smoothly as well as provided great advice regarding local restaurants. Lakeview room was lovely, clean and had a spacious balcony overlooking lake Rosseau. The hotel offers large selection of kayaks and other small water crafts for guests to enjoy. Private beach is wonderful as well. The unique aspect of this hotel is that unlike most Muskoka resorts it is located right downtown Port Carling and walking distance to many great restaurants and pubs. Highly recommend. Special thank you to Corrie for being wonderful and welcoming and also to the housekeeping team.

The experience here is phenomenal. The room was great. There’s a nice view of the lake and complementary paddle boats guests are able to sign out. The staff are very friendly and honest people. I highly recommend anyone who stays in Port Carling to choose this hotel :D
